Homework and Grading Policy Information

Student grades will be determined in the following manner:

Test =50%

Quizzes= 30%

Daily Class Work / Homework = 20%

 

Grading Scale:

A 100-90

B 89-80

C 79-70

D 69-60

F 59 and below

 

 

In order for each student to be successful, he/she is expected to do the following:

*Write down homework in agenda book daily.

*Tear out homework pages from assigned workbook.

*Complete all assignments, homework and turn them in on time.

*Be prepared for test and quizzes.

*Complete all make up work.

*Come to class prepared to work each day with binder, agenda book.

*Keep binder organized and work in the appropriate subject sections.

*Ask questions if there is something you don’t understand J

 

Math Homework: Homework will be assigned for the week on Monday. Students will be responsible for tearing our assigned work from workbook. Homework is due on Friday at the start of class. Homework for Math is assigned for Monday-Thursday night. We encourage students to review lessons at home by accessing their textbook online using the Think Central link on Fort Braden’s homepage. They may also attach any examples from their math books to their homework for assistance.

Science Homework:  Science homework will be assigned for the week on Monday. Students will be responsible for tearing out the lesson packet assigned for the week.  It is important to write in your agenda book when homework is due. Science Homework varies on the day it is due based on the pacing of the unit. Homework for Science is assigned for Monday-Thursday night. We encourage students to review lessons at home by accessing their digital lessons online using the Think Central link on Fort Braden’s homepage.

 

Agenda books

You should be checking and signing  your childs agenda book each night. Every monday in class homework is filled out for the week.
